The local Carquest & Wix guy stopped by my office and told me they were having a 45% off sale on wix filters starting Monday 3/17

So of course I asked. Wix filter 44637 = Carquest 88637 Regular cost $40.23. Sale price $22.13.

Thanks for the heads up Chris. At that price I can experiment between the AIS I have now and the 88637. And there is actually a Carquest in this dinky town I live in.

Yes it's the same filter. Napa & Carquest use different numbers in the 1st 2 digits for the wix filter.

Thanks for the heads up. I just installed mine yesterday, got it at napa for $25 walk out the dood price. I was able to get fleet discount price.

 

I just bought 4 of them from fleetfilter last week....dangit!! Nice heads up though.

 

I called the Carquest in Burlington and he said they were on sale now already for....ONLY $54!!!!!

EDIT - Called East Troy and he said it was changed to next Friday (Good Friday/21st) He didn't know what the price would be though as, "the owner likes to mess with that..."

 

Darn, Scott, that is reguler price. I paid 50.00 for mine when I bought it.

 

If you PM me in the morning I'll scan a copy of the 45% off flyer they brought me. Print it off and walk in the store Monday and see what they say.

Worse comes to worse you can order them from the location near my office.
