i decided i am going to fix my leak once and for all to...
lol sorry for the title but it is exactly what i was thinking about a while ago... ok i need a write up on how to get the oil cooler off... and i need a write up on how to replace all the seals in it... as well i need to know what all has to be done to get it off of the truck... i am sick of the stupid bottom of my truck looking like it is covered in oil... and another thing.. can the oil from the oil cooler make its way all the ways around to where the starter is or do i have another oil leak to??? my starter is covered in oil... my tranny is covered and my drivers side of the block is covered to... from the oil cooler down and back... and is the oil cooler gaskets and stuff or is it o-rings??? and where can i get the kit to rebuild it??? and sorry for the rambling...

Do a search on here for oil cooler. There have been several threads with how to's.

The oil rail plug on the rear of the Right head may also be leaking ...
Get it clean ...take a good look ....

thanks guys i will check into it here in a few min... i am going to try and go get a seat for it right now... mine is broke down bad.. the back and all... but while i am at the parts house i am going to check on those part #s and how much would the whole oil cooler cost???

well i decided to tear into and fix my old one... sorry i forgot to take pics... i meant to do a step by step process on all this but i forgot to take the before pics... and the after pics would not have meant crap without the before pics... but i had to weld cut and put new springs and new wire in the seat i have now... and i added a for sale sign... and the back of my seat was tore all to heck so i welded it all back...
