I think any exhaust shop can make an exhaust system just as good as that for alot cheaper..And than it looks like it comes with a k&n filter...At one time i was looking at getting one too but the gains are unreal...Its just and exhaust system (catback) k&n filter and a new air lid box..I don't think that lid can make that much...

You should contact Banks directly for the most accurate answer.

1988 250

I have the full Banks system on my 460ci. It includes headers, and a full exhaust. It is really no louder than stock with the muffler installed.

Hey Twisted250 how did it help your performance? Any milage improvement? I've got the 7.5 fuel injected in the motorhome, '96 F53 chassis. I'm thinking about the TransCommand for the E4OD to start. The Ram Air intake also looks like it might help my setup. To be honest I'm thinking about plumbing my own though. I can pick up a K&N high flow filter and build a large air scavengeing horn and hang it low, connect it with some 4in. flex tube for a lot less than Banks wants.

Not sure about the fuel mileage. I really don't drive the truck enough to figure out the fuel mileage. It does like to consume what I do put in it though. The banks system has been on the truck since it was nearly new.
The truck performs great. I don't beat on it too much since it is a granny gear transmission.
