Auto or manual transmission

For my daily driver nothing but auto. Any special interest or project vehicle would be manual.

Manual for the truck, manual for the offroad toy, better towing better control, auto for the DD, because noone else in the home can drive manual....yet.

For big trucks I would drive nothing but 18 speed if I could.

I prefer standard, but I really dont mind a beefed up auto.

For cars I love manuals too.

For my truck auto, had a standard and got tired of it in the city. For sports cars must be manual!

Plus standards in tiny cars make them seem like they go alot more then they do!

Actually I heard the new autoshifts in semi`s to be great, a standard but computer controlled shifts always at the proper time. I don`t know much about them other than that.
