radiator shop story

I've been have overheating problems with the '60, so I finally pulled the radiator and took it to the shop today. This shop has been in Gainesville for as long as I can remember and I came here in "63. The place is a shambles, with radiators piled everywhere, but they do great work. Anyway the guy takes it back in the shop to check it, and sure enough it's got a 70% blockage, but he says no problem I can rod it out. Tells me to give my name and number to the old lady that's at the counter. She must be 60 at least. So I give her my name and phone #, then she askes, Ford pickup? Now she had only glanced at it, but knew what a 48 year old radiator came off of. Blew me away.

This guy's twin lives in Virginia. Did my gas tank. You should have heard his lovely bride when he didn't deliver it on time. I felt bad for him...

btw with all those chemicals in the shop maybe she's only 24
