How many miles did your Hankook Tires Last?

Hey everyone!

I purchased my 2004 F-150 XL 4.6 brand new. It was equipped with Hankook Dynapro Tires as standard equipment. They lasted 3 trips to florida and back, 2 to south carolina and back (i live in chicago) and after about 37,000 miles they were almost bald! My dads 2002 explorer with the original michelins lasted almost 70,000 miles before he had to replace them. After the hankooks i replaced them with Firestone Destination A/Ts. Im curious to see how many miles anyone else got out of the stock hankooks. Any responses would be appreciated!!!
thanks a lot

Alex

I replaced mine at 30K last fall. They were well worn (not quite bald), and I didn't want to chance running them through the winter.

I'm still running mine @ 45,500 miles. I'll probably replace this summer though.

I have 51,000 on mine, they look about 60% worn. I bet I can go 80,000.

39,000 kms or 24,000 miles

They weren't bald, probably 50% tread, but I had 4 flat tires on a 400 mile round trip. That was the last of those junky tires. Replaced with Dayton's, and love em.

Hankook tires are weak!

I got just under 55k on mine 04 XL reg cab 4x4, but that was 6 tires as I replaced 1 and had the spare put on a regular rim, last straw was a ply-seperation, cheap weak load c tires! I put on BFG 245/75/17 LOAD E TA KO's now those are REAL tires.

It just my thoughts!

Those look ok, but the A/T's I had If you put a 600lb atv in the box at the max pressure they felt squirrly. I put 2800 lbs of shingles in my truck last week no tire sqat and no squirrliness, the truck was sqwatting good but she did it! I love me Load range "E" tires. (No offense) but those A/T's are ok on a street truck, your M/T's a mud truck, not a work truck, UNLESS! they have a "D" or higher load rating! I don't know why a truck made in the USA has Korean tires anyway! Also why have such light duty tires on a truck you can haul so much, Granted 2800 lbs of shingles is way over gross.

I have 30,500 on them as of now... I have them rotated religiously every 5K I figure I will get another year or so out of them... I still have decent amount of tread on them.

I got two flats in the first 800miles on my 04 reg. cab and that was the end of Hankook for me. Absolute junk and ford would not stand behind them.

Tire Warr. Are Handeled Throught The Tire Manufacturer Not Ford, But Your Dealer Should Have Told You That.
