the 98 expedition has 145K miles on it... basically trouble free... i like it, it has good work cababilities... just wish you could get a 3/4 ton deisel Expedition... the excursions are great, but the expedition is a better size IMO.

So my first car over here is a 2000 5.4L Experdition Eddie Bauer, it has 101K on the clock and is in very good condition on the inside , a small chip on the drivers door where the paint has cme off but apart from that I am loving her.

I have managed to average 14 MPG over the last 500 miles so i feel this is about the best i will get...

So i better say hello also, since this is one of my first posts...
Good job! That must be all highway miles. My daily driving puts a stoplight about every mile to 1.5 miles. I've managed to work up to 12.2 miles per gallon since I've had my Expy.

I would love to take it on a trip see what I can get on the highway.

Mileage

97 EB 175000 miles and counting. Looks and runs as new. Synthetic 5W30 every 5000 miles, 100% synthetic ATF once a year. Only normal maintenance ie tires, just replaced all 4 ball joints and stabilizer links w/ new tires.

2k Expy XLT - The Beast

2k XLT 4x4 w/Tow-Package, dual A/C:
173k miles
4 rotors and brakes twice ($250 each time, did myself)
Just found out today needs new radiator, will take care of that myself (guessing with hoses and thermostat - $350)
All recalls taken care of.
Change oil when I remember (horrible, I know)
Have had since new, runs like a top, I love it, going to gift myself with a new stereo this year.

Try here, much cheaper: Radiator, Radiators: RadiatorExpress.com. Car radiators, auto radiators, radiator replacements, Radiator Express

I have a 98 4.6 with 85,000 miles. Replaced remote oil filter hose. Had her tuned up at 60,000. Change oil every 3.000 miles with synthectic. Changed all other fluids every other year. best truck I have ever owned.

2003 EB 5.4 4x4 115K No issues other than the little lights behind all the switches keep going out. First the door locks, then the sunroof then the rear vent then the pass rear window switch. I will start using the LED conversion talked about in an earlier thread.
