As a former Volunteer Firefighter, Volunteer EMS and NC Forestry Fire Control Equipment Operator I feel your pain and loss... My thoughts and prayers are are with the families that lost loved ones and with the ones in the hospital for a recovery from their injuries.
Prayers from Louisiana. It takes a special breed of men to be firefighters.

A sad day indeed, my prayers go out to their friends and family. Talk about hitting close to home, Victor Isler was stationed in a department about 30 minutes west of mine back in NY. They say he was also at ground zero which has had me thinking we may have worked along side each other at some point.
Is it just me or have there been alot more LODD in the last year? It seems like every other week another horrible story makes the news.
Rest in peace my brothers

Give me the strength to save some life
