boss 302 intake vaccum question

I built a boss 302 engine, it is a 302 block with a set of 4 barrel cleveland heads on it. The heads have the big valves, it has a factory aluminum dual plane boss 302 intake on it. It has a factory set of boss 302 cast exhaust manifolds on it, 750 double pumper holley carb, lost the cam card so I don't know what size it is, bored .60 over with flat top pistons, stock rods and crank. The problem I have is that I mud race this Bronco and the rule states that you need to pull 17" pounds of vaccum at 900 rpm's to run in the stock class. I can move up a class and then I need to pull 12" pounds of vaccum at 900 rpm's. The rule makes me run cast exhaust manifolds also. I did a vaccum check on the engine with all vaccum lines pluged and it pulled 8" pounds at 900 rpm's, nice. The short stroke 302 and big port heads are not known to pull vaccum. So what I need is someone that has built one of these to hook a vaccum guage up and tell me what it is pulling for vaccum, and let me know what the cam size is. Please help!

a custom cam will likely solve your problems...i read lots of stories about "vacuum' rules and that seems to be the best way to meet the rule.
