Both sides were ILLEGAL if you ask me!! The Spaniards killed more indians then the
white europeans (spain is in europe yes I know) The settlement of south america
was especially violent and the whole small pox blanket trick was used there before
we used it against the plains indians. The spaniard and Catholic missionaries used
the converted population to attack and kill the indians living in the jungles.
The mayans were not the entire makeup of the central and south america there
were and still are indians living in the jungle away from the cities(or temples)
Nafta just effectively killed off the remaining indians in Mexico, The government
was planning on giving them land reparations but there was a clause written into
the Nafta agreement and basically it amounts to the corporations not wanting to lose
the mineral and land options on what would most likely have been a closed off bit
of land for the reservation!!

AFAIK, the blankets were used against the Cree, Iriquois and Algonquin tribes in the northeast.

Most of the plains tribes were chucked onto the rez after 1876, and starved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, overseen by that crook William Belknap...who had been appointed by President US Grant.

EDIT: You're correct about the blankets...I went searching for Belknap's first name (added above), and found the Gros Ventre, Blackfeet and other tribes were given those blankets long before 1876.

 

I am talking about the mexican and south american natives that were shot, chased,
and given the bio warfare blankets so the spanish crown could take the land, Don't
forget that christopher columbus sailed for spain!! The spaniards did a wholesale
slaughter of the native people and destroyed almost all their artifacts so we don't
even know much about them. Of course they don't really teach that in school since
they like to make the white man feel bad about what he did here in North America
but they weren't the only native killers!! I am Cherokee and powhatan and some
eropean descent from all over that place but I call myself and AMERICAN I am in the
great melting pot and I am certainly melted together!! Don't forget if you are not
100% percent native american then you are a immigrant, But the Native americans

I believe you are right. Turns out we may not have won after all. They just took a lot longer than we expected to regroup. Of course it's a lot easier on them this time since we're not putting up a fight to stop them.

 

Mexico has a Air force (w jets!!) a Navy and a ground force. Venezuela, Columbia
and other So American countries have Submarines and full military forces. If they
all decided to take up arms against us, We would have quite a fight on our hands
and our govrnment doesn't want us to even be aware of that they could be our
worst enemy and may very well be able to take over a large portion of the south
west of this country (and FLorida!!) They have a large number of their people here
and if they drop off a few plane loads of small arms and a few artillery emplacements
on the border and in cuba we would be in the fight of the century.
Venezuela now have some heavy bombers they bought from a russian company and
it should be an alarm bell in alot of people on this continent. Sure our airforce is
superior to a large percentage of the world but just like pearl harbor showed us a
planned attack on the right time and place could take out a large number of our
people and the height of our technological superioririty is nothing if a few EMP bombs
were used to take out or radar and communication systems. An EMP bomb is not a
nuclear bomb though nukes do have a emp spike, A true EMP bomb is a bunch of big
batteries and a bank of capacitors that charge up a copper coil that is wrapped
around a high explosive and when it is detonated the resulting spike and energy that
is released kills electric devices in the vicinity and then travels through the grid and
blows out the transformers along the way leaving us basically 200 years in the past!!
A few well placed EMP devices and a human wave attack and we would be in trouble
thinking about it makes me want to leave Florida since where I live I am a minority
and the Wal mart here does the announcements in spanish first!! It is a bad sign when
roadside signs are in a language not spoken by the majority of the country!!
The answer to it is a well armed citizenry and well trained military. If you are thinking
of getting a gun your government will give you a good deal on a surplus firearm all you
have to do is take marksmenship lessons and you can get a M1 or even a 22 if you
