Good Shop for gear Swap

Hey guys,

I had my rear end(8.8) gears(3.55) swapped out to 4.10 by a small shop in Goodlettsville. The shop is called FastLane and the guys name is Dan. He is located in Goodlettsville at 1034 Louisville Highway. He only charged me $450 for the rear end which is a great price. He used Ford Racing gears and paid great attention to detail. If you need a gear swap or any other work give him a call at 615-977-5448.

Thanks for the info... My question is, How do you like the new gears? Was it worth the cash? I would really like to do the same swap, but I would have to do front and rear.

The gears are great. Now they wern't the life changing mod I thought they were going to be but the truck pulls harder. It is also nice knowing that I could actually tow or haul something now. Previously o the highway I couldn't stay in Overdrive when it got the least bit hilly, and now it can so that is nice. I would say call up Dan and have it done. Get a tuner at the same time also.

The shop I'm in now can do diff's and axle work (even on SEMI TRACTORS!), but I don't know if I dare post much about it because of conflict of interest with FTE SPONSORS.

You can always PM me.
