I love the mirrors, not to mention the truck. I like the little bit lower front bumper.

As far as I am concerned these things look best in Candy Apple Red (stock color) Yellow or Black!

the bumper is lower due to the three inch body lift. the body work wont support black never thought about yellow though

A big yellow '76 pulled up next to me at the gas pump the other day. Kind of a chrome yellow. Looked really good. Mine is a red '75 it looks pretty good too, despite the rust and dents.

Hey, will the bed from your donor fit on my 78 F150 shortbed? If so, Mine is rotted out and I live in Dayton, OH as well. Let me know if you wanna sell any extra parts. The project looks mean as hell. Wish mine looked that good. Chris

well started pulling parts off donor today got most of the chrome and rubber trim that goes in the dent on the side off of it . took the grille surround off. now i know where the slogan "built ford tough" came from that thing has about 15 bolts to get it off and some arent easy to get to. took off the shifter panel on the floor to get ready to pull transfer case and transmission. sitting in that field did a number on the floor boards.

i had to fix my bumper because of the 3" body lift....i just made 3" spacers out of square stock and drilled a new set of lower holes in the front of the frame horn...no one could ever tell its not stock.

well i get enough looks from the local law enforcement so i dont think i am gonna raise it to match the body. our bumper law is 27" front and mine is 36" now.
