Need more help

You guys are great, you got me straightened out on the flathead 6 fireing order quickly! Now for the next questions, what spark plug does this engine take, and what is the gap set at. When I checked the plugs in the engine now, I found AC rt44sxt, thats a 5/8ths tapered seat plug with an extended reach. The local parts store says they should be Autolite 216's. a 13/16 plug with a flat seat and a gasket. Are they right? If not , just what spark plug does this engine use, and again what should the gap be? I'd like to go out on a real short trip this weekend, but with the way she is/was running...I don't know.

Dont' you just love po's? Parts guy was right. You can run the Autolite 216 plugs with .025" -.028" gap. Thats all I ever use.
