Yeah i actually replaced both relays already, those were a cheap way to narrow the problem down a bit. after reading that I def think it is time for a computer. Thanks guys.

If your ignition control module is a black Motorcraft (CCD system) do not replace it with a gray one (Push Start system). The wiring harness is different.

I just bought a new computer, which didn't fix it. I have jumped the inertia switch but still no luck. what I cant figure out is that if I hard wire the fuel pumps, which gives me psi at the rail. the truck still wont start without a shot of ether, but then dies when the ether is gone. For some reason something is not telling the pumps to run or the injectors to fire, even with a new computer. I am so frustrated, it is a good thing i dont have a body of water close enough to push it in.
Do you know that the psi at the rail is enough. I'm not sure what the figure is, but it must be high enough for the injectors to over come a spring in the injector. I suspect your low pressure pump is fine, but your high pressure pump is not. Someone on here should know the psi. I know if I depress the shrader valve, the gas will hit the hood with lots of force!

i havent actually checked the psi but it shoots out pretty good, and both pumps sound like they are running, when i wire them directly to the battery. But unless you hardwire them, they dont even prime. it is just like the entire fuel system is dead. I have so far replaced the computer, pump relay, computer relay, ignition module, fuel filter, and wired around the inertia switch. I am lost.
the last i knew it was on the pass side under the kick panel, bronco II its on the pass side, pull back the carpet and its mounted to the fire wall, right where a foot can kick it.

well I just checked the inertia switch just to be sure, and it makes a circuit until you smack it, when reset it makes a circuit again. I guess I am down to just tracking down wires, I would have thought that if a wire was grounding out somewhere it would be blowing fuses?
finally gave up and bought a 1997 f-150. Pulled all the good parts off the bronco, going to try to sell the top. Local scrapyard is giving $200 a ton for a car, that ends up being more than anyone will give me for it. I hate to do it but I have to get it out of the driveway

where are ya? and here the price of scrap has dropped big time......
Did anyone ever suggest injector pulse.Unplug one injector- pull the wires down on a 194 bulb and stick in injector wire plug -now watch bulb while trying to start-should blink.Seen many a broken-grounded wire in injector wire harness-see alot after valve cover replacment! LOL Blue
