$4.49 at local station here. Most others around the area are $4.40-4.30.

I bought my first truck last summer and decided on diesel for power, not fuel economy. Diesel was average $.50 less a gallon than gas. I knew the mileage would be worse, but was still averaging $2.40 or so. I am now paying more for fuel then the cost of the truck payment and insurance combined. I don't have to drive it, but we still should not be gouged like this.

I talked to a trucker yesterday and he said commercial drivers are getting 48.5 cents a mile just for a fuel surchage. This might be old news though. Tack that $500 for 1000 mile freight bill and it's no wonder that people, including myself, are complaining about the price of everything else going through the roof.

I was driving home this afternoon in Henderson, NV and while stopped at a red light I watched a lady change the price for diesel at a Rebel station from $4.09 to $4.15. There is a 7-Eleven in Las Vegas that charges $3.93 for Diesel.

saw it day before yesterday @ $4.25. Then yesterday is was $4.35. Kinda afraid to see what it is today.....
Diesel runs about 60 cents higher than regular unleaded. When's the madness going to stop???

Soon it will be the same price as in Canada.
We are paying about $6.10 for an Imperial gallon which is a bit larger than the US gallon.
And since Canada exports oil to the US this makes little sense to me.
But China and India are lining up for their share and the price is here to stay. It will only go higher from now on as the economy grows over there and people want to drive.
Just like we have been doing here for the last 100 years.

well if it makes you all feel better heard diesel was or is $2.00 a gallon in mexico as the guys next to the border were going there to fill up as it was on fox tvthere has to be a reason our fuel is high reports say we are using less and paying more as oil keeps going up i think wall street futures traders were blamed for most of the oil going up as any excuse to make money
