Is anybody looking for a good deal???

You need to move quick, but I saw a 91 Ford 1/2-ton 4X4 for sale at a swap meet yesterday. It has a 302, AOD, PS, and PB. It looks good but has an issue with DMV penalties. It was last registered as of Feb 2007. So the owner is selling it for parts. $400 It runs very well. If anybody needs an engine, or other parts; or is willing to settle up with DMV, the guy wants it gone now! 1-530-409-6758 or 1-530-622-7026. Good luck, Jag

Sweet! I wish I was in the market. I'm not. Sounds like a really nice daily driver.

Tempting, mighty tempting. However, I have already committed to buying the Ranger.

It'd have to have a camper on it, I'm getting too fat to sleep in the cab these days

Bah, buy it for $400, pay the back registration, and sell it for $2500. Don't need a camper for that.

Correct, I'd just need a decent place to sleep for a month or two while the wife calms down.

Women (well most of them anyways) were not born with our visions.

Ah, I keep forgetting about you married folk. I don't have those issues, so I never think that way.

Ya know Jim, I often sit and ponder what vasts amount of iron I would have out back if I were not married....then I ponder more and realize that if I grabbed onto what I pondered, I'd have never been married....ah...kinda like the reverse of perpetual motion

You know back when I was doing custom farm work in Colorado I sometimes would come onto places like that. One guy had two pole barns and about 4 acres full of nothing but old Packards, another had 2 acres of Mercury's and IH pickups.

The thing is that none of the vehicles ran, and were just piles of rust. You couldn't buy any of them, or even a part off one of them. They just sit there and weather away.

Their homes were mean little things with a black and white TV shoved onto a tabletop. and no woman running around serving pie and coffee. They slept on a cot in one corner, living entirely in one room.

No, if I had to choose between all the junk I could drag home and a woman, I know which way I would go!

Well...thinking about it...and assuming I was starting from scratch (i/e no woman and no junk)...I'm not really sure which way I'd fall...I mean thinking about it, I could always find a nice lady...but how often do '32 Fords come along?

Four acres of cars that don't run, and are just rusting away would be a waste. I doubt I would ever get that many vehicles even if I did have the room for them. I mean I can only work on so many projects at one time.

If I was independently wealthy, then I could pull a Reggie Jackson and fill up a warehouse full of them. Or Jay Leno, and fill up several warehouses. However, I would drive mine.

As for choosing between a car/truck or a woman, I have made that decision already. That is why I am single at 49. I have no problems spending my money, I don't need anyone else's help. And like Mike states, if I want a woman, I can find one easily enough.
