F350 Starting Problems

My 1995 F350 with a 460 is having really weak starting problems when its wet outside or gets out of a carwash. I replaced the starter over the summer of 2007 so its brand new, and now all of a sudden its acting up again. It will barely crank, and then just be completely silent, then it will finally pull out of it. Today after I got out of the carwash, and the gentleman went to start my truck, he had to try to do it 3 times and finally on a very reluctant long moan the engine finally turned over. Its very annoying, but I cant always get it to start bad for the mechanic who installed it for me, so I need it to either do it more consistently or if someone could tell me what it is?

When it does it again, turn on the headlights, and get someone to watch them while you try to start it.

If they go really dim or out, I would suspect something wrong with the battery or a battery cable. If they stay bright, I would suspect the starter again, or possibly the starter relay or a connection up there on the relay.

As long as they come on, it should work. All you are doing is using the lights as a crude voltmeter to check the voltage when you have a problem.
