Life Span of OEM shocks?

Truck is 4 years old with 33,000 miles, but feels bouncy over the potholes. Shocks gone? F250 4x4 with stock shocks (non F4X)

My F-350 F x 4 with 6.0 lasted about 25,000 mi and then I had the notorious death wobble. Yours probably last longer as your V-10 engine weighs less. When you replace the shocks, if you get someone to do it, look at your old shocks. Mine could be moved in and out with little effort. I replaced all five and the truck rode better than when it was new.

Thumbs up

I just installed 4 bilstein 5100 series shocks at 25k , 3 of the four fx4 shocks were bad , they didn't have any gas in them , made a huge difference !
