hello i have a 97 f350 crewcab shortbox with the 7.3 and e4od

previous owner said it was rebuilt 20 000 km ago but sat for a year and wouldnt shift

replaced the solenoid pack because it had no resistance on solenoids now it shifts

e40d feels like its slipping only when i hammer on it but usually shifts firm

hooked up a snapon scanner no tranny codes but the torque converter only locks in overdrive

any help would be greatly appreciated as i just redid the body and was hoping to put in on the road soon

 

Previous owner "said" it was rebuilt.
Is there proof with a receipt, or place it was done?

 

no receipts unfortunetly so i have no clue other then it had newer valve body gaskets and fluid was nice. Also the truck has 300 000 km
