Sweet looking trucks...
p.s., ignore the pics at the bottom of my post, the 1st one is a 4x4, and the last one is my daily driver...

This was my Great grand father's truck he bought new in 77 for $5k, then my Father's truck, now handed down to me. Glad to keep it in the family!

Thanks for the complement, I've been trying to name that thing and the whole (don't mess with me) comment might have put a few ideas in my head...

Its good to see all these nice 70's Ford trucks still on the road.
I rarely see one in my area, even a beater.

That's an indy truck not a free-wheelin
It's missing the letters/decals

Are you saying the letters have been removed? If it's not a free wheelin how do you explain the black low mount mirrors, black bumpers, black grill and what not?

It is a Indy truck, not free wheeling that's how you explain it.
The free wheeling truck has a different paint set up also.

MBBFord,
Isn't it possible that this truck had the Freewheeling package then was specially treated to the Indy paintscheme, or was this specifically something called the Indy Package? Just discuss please.
