'79 guy, how's that engine swap coming. I was about to pick up a wrecked Lincoln for $400, but the motor smokes, so no go.

What's causing the sparks? Is that the truck scraping the ground or do you have something else doing that?

I Think my avatar serves me well.
What 4x4 truck picture are you talking about?
I posted 1 picture of a 4x4 in this thread well over a year ago and that picture is no longer in this thread.
But I think you guys should respect,I try to help people when I can,and I Haven't done anything to any of you.

I've watched it a few times. I like it. Does it drag the frame or do you have drag blocks under it? If were to do that I think I'd put drag blocks on it so it doesn't eat up my frame. I still like it though.

first of all J Mater is da Sh*@t My brother actually has a Mater truck sitting in the woods behind my house It is a 50's dodge but I digress.

It is the frame dragging but I have 1/4" steel welded under the frame. When they wear through simply grind the welds and replace. I plan to get a better longer vid up soon. We have shot some video before where I was shooting sparks at least 20 feet behind me .

You should see the little scrap yard I go to. That guy has about 10 '50s Ford truck out there, 3 of 'em are 'mater style. He has a Reo boom truck too. He's got some good stuff out there. Mostly Ford too. My mom's neighbor had a dead ringer for 'mater, but he did a bit of a resto and got it painted black about a year and half ago.

North Carolina, in the sticks. That junk yard is down a farm path, in a cutout area of the woods. He's got an office and it's all fenced in, with about 15 ft of land cleared around the perimeter, then it's all forest and trees with patches of fields. It's only about 4-6 acres, and it's about 3/4 of a mile into the woods. It's 4 miles from my house and I never knew it was there. Heck, growing up, my school bus drove past the place twice a day from the 6th grade to the 12th.

Yeah I know, LOL! I'm just excited. I was very happy and surprised to find the place. The whole time I followed the guy out there, I was like "where the hell are we going?". We were driving through the woods in my brother's '95 Escort.
