New member here just wanting to show off my baby. It was my dads truck he bought 2 months before I was born. 1976 2wd F100 Ranger XLT bought from Ken Gardener Ford in Chattanooga, TN in October of 75. I hope the picture shows up...

First welcome to FTE!

Thanks effy! It is completely stock and I plan on keeping it that way. After my dad passed away my mom took 6 years to decide whether to give it to me or my brother since we both wanted it. I've had it for 9 years and hope to pass it to my son when he earns it. I would like to buy another one that I could play with a little more but for now she is my one and only. It almost sounds like I'm in love with my truck. Wait a minute I am lol... Thanks again

Nice truck Scott. But did you have to mention when you were born? 1975 is the year I graduated from high school.

Sorry hp246! Didnt mean to make you feel old. I still feel like I just graduated high school but it's been 15 years already. Time passes so fast. I guess we are only as old as we feel. If that's the case, will I ever grow up? lol Probably not.

It was relatively easy. I installed it in about 45 minutes. It did come with a template but you do have to cut out the center support of the roof. The only thing is is I don't know how it will work with the factory cardboard headliner. I don't have a headliner yet so I have yet to cross that bridge.

Nice pickup, ScottL.

A neighbor used to have an identical pickup.

Thanks. I saw one that looked just like mine about 5 years ago here in Chattanooga but I haven't seen it since. I have seen a couple of others with a similar paint scheme.
