Actually, it's the modified. No Clevelands after 1974. Even then, no Cleveland engines in trucks.

AN OIL BATH CLEANER! I haven't seen one in a decade or two.

Take a vid of driving it!

Guess it is funny. I'm thinking about getting a stainless steel cover for my Dana 60. Not high on the priority list, though. What do you think about that huge air breather?

Nice truck Lil.

Good choice on the wheels and tires.

That 400 sounds good to me. Is it all original? Has it been built a little.

There are probably aftermarket repair panels available for that specific rust spot. I wouldn't fab one if you can just buy one. Much easier, and better. Not neccesarilly cheaper though, but you got money.

I wanna see pics when you get it painted.

I need a camera man for that. My neighbors already think I'm cooky for making the videos of my vehicles. When my gf comes back into town, maybe I can get a vido of me driving the truck, but I'll prolly just look cooky....

I took a second video, calling the motor a 400 Cleveland.. so on the 2nd video I'm wrong, the 1st video I'm right.... oh well... I'm waiting on that video to upload still. So I will post a link when it finishes uploading.

The fab is already made. The body guy is trying to chase me down to put it on. He's a local restorer. He wants to put the truck up on the rotisserie and bring it back to 1978 because the truck is sooooo original. AFAIK the 400 is not built. I have a hand written list of stuff that was done to the truck before I got it, but it was mainly replacing gaskets and seals. No performance mods as far as I can see. I can post a scan of the work, I guess.

But, I plan to do "close to original", but not quite. Will keep everyone updated with pics.

love the mud flaps and front bumper

What years/models did that bumper come on (with the faux brush guard/bump stop)?

Not sure exactly. My 73 (shown) has them. My 76 doesn't, but my 79 does.

Kinda fond of my mudflaps too!
