I love the sign right behind it "NO PARKING ANY TIME". Looks like a cool project. What are your plans for it?

HA! I didn't even notice that! For now, just a head swap and fix a couple of leaks like rear main and valve cover gaskets. So far its a tough truck and has been dependable....until it started smoking it just made me nervous. Did a compression test and 7 of em were between 115 and 150...except #1 which was at 30. I have all I need now except time and Ill get him up and running again. Needs exhaust and small stuff but I'll try and keep it stock for the most part without too many upgrades. Oh and wheels just because of all the bad info I keep hearing about the 2 piece rims. Here is a pic of the motor the day after I bought it...needs work I know. But I'm tryin' dang it lol.

I always did like the tue tone paint on the roofs of these trucks. What size engine is that? 390?

It's a 360. Sorta hard to find parts for, or at least expensive when you do find em.

Why is it hard to find parts for? It is the same as a 390, except that the crank has a shorter stroke. I have never had a problem finding parts for any FE engine. If nothing else, you can order parts from Summit.

I really dont ever get a chance to enjoy it like i used to. I would like to see somebody or family really enjoy it like our family did. And the money would really help fund the daughters college fund. Besides the gas is killing me. lol
