It will look good with a medium blue. there is a '70 (I think) running around Omaha, with a meduim blue paint job, and aluminum wheels. It looks really sharp!

Hey guys, what do you think I should do when I get my truck repainted? I'm thinking about repainting it the same, red and white. Or, maybe just all red or all white to keep it simple. The interior is all red and in good shape, so I won't be changing any of that.... although I sure wish it had black interior.

Two tone red and white looks good on those trucks. Dad's old 79 was black with red interior.....wasn't bad at all. A solid red or white wouldn't be bad. You can't go wrong, you own a 70's Ford pickup.........

I like that paint combo that's on it Rob. You might even consider painting the roof white. My Mom bought her '78 with the same colors, and the white roof. It was a very sharp truck (until she sold it to my brothers!).

I was wondering about the top... they must have offered a couple different paint schemes other than just a simple two-tone. White is so much easier to keep nice looking, but all white is kind of boring.

Jake - blue and black would look great for your interior.

I wish I had a digital pic of it, I'd post it. It was just a regular cab, though, with the long bed.

White is boring. I'm on my second white pickup. If you have the right stuff on it it looks good like my pickups did. It just needs something to set it off. Anyway, the beauty of white is, just shortly before I got rid of it I caught a tree at my girlfriend's house and scratched the ever-living you know what out of the clearcoat all the way down the box. I washed it and then you had to really look and the light had to hit it just to see it.

I'm not a big fan of an all white truck, but I will bow to Georges (gquinn8516) all white 69. That is a very sharp truck!

It will be interesting once I get a couple bids on the repaint. Gotta fix the rust above the rear wheels too.

If I vanish from here, you'll know I dropped dead from the estimate. Either that, or the wife had me locked away for wanting to spend $$$ on a 30 year old truck. Although, she did say the other day that she liked my 70 highboy the best... hmmm, wonder if that translates into "honey, you should go buy another truck just like that, no matter what the cost".

Yea. Well Rob, I doubt it means that, but hey, it's worth a try right?

Anyway, here's what I'm thinking.

Great color Jake... Blue is probably my favorite color. That site has got some nice looking red shades too.

I'm taking off for now... may be back a bit later tonight.
