Question Tailgate Issues

I am rplacing the tailgate on my 1950 F1 and when I started to take the tailgate hinges off I noticed that they were partially welded on. I can get the bolts out but what is the best method for breaking the weld? Thanks for your help!

Can you can get to it with a cut off wheel on a 4 inch grinder? That's what I would use if possible. If not, perhaps a hammer and chisel?

Thanks for the info! I do have a wheel that should cut the hinges off!

A Zip cut if you have enough room.
