this darn fuel leak!

i still got that fuel leak, and its getting worse. where are all the points to check? its coming from between the filter housing and the pump. even as cheap as fuel is i hate to waste any LOL. i dont know where to check. dont seem to be those lines. i went to the stealership to buy them and a 2" rubber line was $7.6o something. i told them not today, cause i left my vaseline at home. where all else down there is likely to be leaking?

I cant say for sure where exactly youre talking without going out to look under hood but mine sprung a drip where the electric connection for the fuel heater goes in filter.Took awhile to find.

second on that electrical connection for heater. Mine was slightly loose, but while I had it all apart I replaced all the o-rings in the system for about $3.16 using Buna N70 rings which is less susceptible to cold temperatures. The viton will shrink more than the Buna N, but Viton is supposed to be more compatible with bio. There is a list of the o-rings at this site which one of the guys on here has in their sig...

I got tired of searching for leaks and had already replaced the fuel pump so didn't suspect that. I found three dollars worth of o-rings to be bettter than the $60 bucks at the dealer.

if its coming from between the filter house and the pump, it can only be the lines right? Have you checked the electrical connection as mentioned above? Someone from here told me to get everything cleaned up eal well and use babypowder to find it. It actually works pretty well.....LOL

Fuel restriction sensor, top sensor drivers side .. comes out the electrical connection. Water in light sensor, bottom sensor drivers side .. have not had that one yet. Just a couple possiblities. Get a bright light in there and watch for the drips.
