Hey guys I'm new to all this power stroke stuff but have worked on semis. cats and cummins for some time now. I have 97 p.s. when it shifts it hangs in gear at 3000 rpm waiting for it to shift??? what gives is it normal for me to have to let out of the pedal to get it to shift? the trans only has maybe 1500 miles on it with 107,000 on the engine. only mods so far is a cat delete. what gives thanks.

 

prolly a mechanical shift kit adjusted wrong. mine was doing that right after my buil-up but had it recaliberated

 

Its not right what ever it is. Could be a valve in the Accumulator body hanging up. I am no tranny expert though.
