OK - here's just a taste of what has been discussed...
Food, a few games, beer, campfire chatting... more beer, a ride thru Cades Cove... more beer... and if there is time, MORE BEER!
I don't drink, and it appears to be half the plans. I just did cades 2 weeks ago, good time. where is this site? the link I clicked took me to ebay for some reason. I camp in Gatlinburn and I have never seen this site, that I recall.
It is just outside of Gatlinburg (and I mean JUST) on the east side.
We are talking about white water rafting, comedy theater, and some other stuff I think is in the post above?
Group drives with ~20+ Super Duty body styles (Excursions and SD's)...
Campground stuff includes group pot luck dinners and other shared meals.
Kids crafts
Etc...
So you don't have to drink...but bringing some for the rest of us would earn brownie points! JK...
Let me know if that link don't work...the Forum was updated here yesterday...so perhaps our link is messed up?...I'll try it...but this one should work.
joe.

Thanks.
Sounds like fun. My wife sees it as an opportunity to get the new camper she has been hounding me on.....
speaking of which, have you had any problems with your Jayco? we pretty much have it narrowed down to a Jayco G2 32 BHDS, Jayco 26 BHS or Palamino Puma 26 FBSS. She is leaning towards the 32', I like the 26's.
Let me check things, but this sounds like a god time
We've had our JayFlight 31BHDS for a full season (last year) and I had to do some mods to the Ex (~$500 worth) to get her dialed in to handle the extra tongue weight (~1100-1200#'s depending on fresh water)...
The Jayco is a well built unit in our experience...plus the 2 year ball to bumper warranty is nice...
For us...the 31BHDS works out extremely well with our two girls...so I have to say...if you have kids...I'm with your wife (sorry)...and from a pulling standpoint...this one pulls just as easily (now) as my old 27' 7500# TT we had prior.
I pulled this TT a little over 5000 miles last year and we have a trip to the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Arches and Denver planned for June (~4000 miles)...so I have a lot of confidence in this setup!
I hope you can swing the gala...I think we will have a good time getting all us Ford folks in one place!
Joe.

did you do to the X? I thought it would be good to go...
I am definitly off work that weekend. I saw you had white water rafting listed. is this something younger kids can do? I've been wanting to do that for a while.
Maybe we could all go to dixie stampede. If there are enough we could have North, south and Ford sides!
But seriously, there is a place called Parrot Mtn by dollyworld. I was there 2 weeks ago. it is up a big hill with enough room for about 40 cars and it is a bird zoo if you will. but there are about 50 birds out that you can handle and feed and such. the place was awesome. If I can go or not, I think it is something you guys should consider. it was alot of fun and very different from the normal activities you do there.
Did you mean you were going to invite your cummins bud?...please DO...I'd rather have friends and friends of friends than complete strangers in the park...afterall...if we don't fill it...OTHERS WILL!!!...so invite away.
The ONLY thing I ask...is if you do invite your friends...and you want them to be part of the group (no problem)...send me a PM with contact info (email addy) so I can get some personal info like names and kids names for name badges as well as a count of kids for crafts and such...
Plus we will be hopefully pre-booking some of the stuff...so having a head count will be a REAL HELP...
Having some bow-ties and dummins around will deflect some of the V10 v PSD banter! LOL
