rear wall carpet!

it looks like alot of you guys are installing amps back there but my question is, are any of you putting the carpet back on? that thing looks like its also keeping the truck quite inside because it is a insulator and etc.

if not, is it increasing road noise?!?!?!

or should i ditch it and just hush matt it? i guess i'll have to hush mat it if the back wall will rattle!

I'm no expert and havent gotten to amps yet or whatever but I can't imagine hushmat wouldnt be better than just carpet. Or at the very least, the same as.

I would do hushmat AND carpet if you can. If not, double hushmat it. *shrugs shoulders*

I cut the carpet around the amps only as to help with the cooling. Looks good as all the wires and blocks are covered but the top of the amps are visable and I can still get to the adjustments for fine tuning. Does make a difference in the road noise without it.
