I have a 1993 ford f-150 flareside with a 351 windsor. I was wondering what performance truck had a 351 windsor that i can get parts from for my motor. My truck is 4x4 and standard cab with auto transmission. also what visual upgrades as well? any and all help will be appreciated. thanks
I think you would be better off in the forum for your truck. Very little from the Lightning will work on your truck unless you put a L top end on it.

You won't be able to buy the Lightning stuff cheap so you might as well buy new aftermarket parts.Plus the lightning stuff will limit you depending on what your goals are.Spend the money on aluminum heads,intake and cam. Headers are easy to do plus the aftermarket has alot for exhaust systems.
The 351w engines are pretty much the same. After 1993 Ford used the roller blocks which were just blocks cast to allow roller cams.

pretty damn low right now lol. I get about 150 every two weeks. I lost my job due to being sick for a week and seeing my grandma in the hospital 2 months prior to that... long *** story, and I do oddjobs to get what money i do get.
First thing you can do is bump the base timing up a few degrees...that's a free mod.

how much power/fuel efficency will i get? I think im going to work on fuel efficency first. first thing is new EGR valve. then i plan on going to K&N air filter, headers, dual exhaust.
best bet go to junk yard look for the exhaust manifolds and as well ask for other parts that match up to your model as i am not familiar with the lightning engine but i have a 351w to put in my truck later as i was going that same rout put just the exhaust as well as the heads if i can use my carb on there so good luck ..luv my ford truck
