Yes there is but I don't know how. You add a resistor some where on the back of the instrument cluster if I recall. But I don't have a write up or link

i figured it was possible, just no one ever talks about it, probably because everyone just installs an after market gauge, or maybe it's not that easy or helpful of a mod. it would be nice because the real estate in the cab for mounting gauges is not endless.

You need to remove the instrument cluster. Behind the oil pressure gauge there is a resistor on the flex circuit. You need to solder a little wire in parallel with the resistor to bypass it.

Then you need a pressure gauge for a older Ford truck. I beleive mid 80's or earlier will work. Put it in place of the pressure switch. I beleive there are fit issues so you can just swap them, you'll need to do a little plumbing.

No problems here. I tow about 10,000 lbs in the summer and I have no problems with overheating, even climbing mountain passes.

What does your Ford factory gauge get up to? Mine is hitting straight up noon and then will hold there. I believe it is on the "R" of "NORMAL"

My 203 always gets by the N. The old thermostat didn't.
