Ice buildup inside front doors

Has anyone else had a problem with ice buildup inside the front doors? The other day the bottom inside of the passenger door was FULL of ice to the point where the door would only open about half way. It looks like the water melts and runs inside near the hinges and builds up at the bottom of the door, then freezes.

ice damage

Has it done any damage? It seems like the ice could get caught in the door and bend the metal?
Have you figured out a way to eliminate this?

No it hasn't done any damage yet.
Although one morning I thought that it did, when I heard a loud bang when I opened my door, but it was just the ice breaking.
I'm not going to worry about this... it's how the truck was designed. Hopefully it won't cause permament damage.

Cheers... Bruce
