Question Programmers

I see a lot of talk about programmers on this forum. I have a 1998 F150, 4.6, 4x4 and am interested in seeing wether a programmer would benefit me in any way.

I don't tow anything but do have the tow hitch. Mostly highway miles and a little four wheeling in the winter to get up my snow covered driveway which is about a 1/2 mile long.

Any insight on how one could help me? If so...what kind and general prices.

Thanks

Well, on the 93 octane tune, I get about 2mpg better, so it actually saves money using 93 octane fuel. The tranny shifts much firmer which will lengthen the life of the tranny by eliminating slipping between the gears. It also makes a very nice scan tool.
At least my Diablosport Predator does.

I got mine from the online store in my sig.
