How do I test glow plugs
I need to test the glow plugs on a 95 Power Stroke. I've checked the relay and it's fine. Do I need to remove the valve covers to check them or can use an ohm meter. Is there any extra precautions I need to take if I do need to remove the valve covers. Also the truck has 302K miles on it. thanks for the help.

No you do not have to remove the valve covers unless you get an open reading. If so, then the covers come off so that the UCV harness can be checked seperatly.
In each of the valve cover gasket sockets you will find five (5) pins. The two (2) outboard pins are glow plugs. The next two (2) are to the injectors and the center pin is a common ground.
Use a good ground for one of your probes then test each GP pin for somewhere around .05 reading. Also check the top side harness' female plugs as well as the VC gasket plugs for any sign of a burned connection.
Good luck
