Yesterday, we had a slight problem with our 07 Explorer, my GF heard a grinding/scraping sound coming from the drivers side of the truck.
She called me and I told her to go straight to the dealer from where she was at (2 miles away).
Of course the sound was not there when I drove the truck in front of the service rep, but they did look at the truck today.
There is a problem with a rear caliper, so a part is coming from the mainland to replace it.
Although the truck will be there for a week (awaiting the part), the dealer (where we bought the truck from) is making the arrangements for a rental car - warranty pays for 10 days.
We have a bunch of cars to drive, but we are making use of our warranty.
I know this is not sales related, but it is all good to me.
