Hey driver....how did you fix it?
I have a '54 and it has the Dana 44....32 rear end. but I'm still runnig the stock 239 Y

The motor was easy to fix after every one was pionting at the flexplate. As for the rest I am still thinking on the rear end and steering.

If you want to keep the truck mostly original go with a 57-72 Ford truck rear with a 3:25 to 3:50 ratio and convert the steering to a Toyota box. That should give you the 60-65 mph cruising speed you want and power steering...

Would a 82 ford 150 9'' fit or would it take to much cutting down to fit? Where do I get info on the toyota steering sounds like every one like that.
