Hey man nice truck a friend has one its fast but for having 450hp and 500lb tq its lean but still out rans most trucks, heres what hes done first changed the tune he went with sct next the intake with jdm and a pulley swap last he got a vaulve boby upgrade not sure who he went with but to tell you the truth know its a whole new truck,he ran a 1/4 mile in 14.9 at 92 his first run before any work was done after the work he has ran a 13.2 at 101 and 12.8 at 102.7 and that fast for a 5500 pound truck on 23's so jdm has some good ideas on how to make this truck a killer they also had a project saleen truck.

Saleen 07, Wow and I thought I was having problems! I bought my truck on December 1, '07 and didn't think it ran quite right. Took it home, didn't drive it till December 22, and it ended up that Saturday in the Ford garage.(350 miles) Got the truck back Jan. 2, '08 after replacing the left cat. The right cat had already been replaced by the dealer I purchased it from (along with three coil packs and three sparkplugs). That information was from the Oasis report my repairing dealer ran on my truck. After I got the truck back it still had a shudder/shake in the engine. I then decided to start using the truck everday.
It has close to 5000 miles on it, but the engine is not smooth at idle or on the road especially when pulling a grade at moderate speed.
I had made arrangements with JDM to do some tuning, but decided to take it back to the Ford dealer to check out the engine again. Dropped it off March 24, and so far I've been told that #7 cylinder is down 17% on power. The dealership is waiting on a Boroscope that can inspect the cylinder walls to see what's going on. So, its a waiting game right now, till the cylinder is looked at. In the mean time, I have another payment due! I had a '02 HD F-150 I traded with about 55000 miles and never had any issues other than the recall on the cruise control.

So not so happy with the 450hp well here is something to look into, jdm engineering did some work on a saleen with the same setup as your hd only that it rides on 23s well they modified the valve body put in a newcoldair kit they also changed the tune with a sct xcalibrator and changed the pull utilizing nine psi of boost, exhaust upgrade all that made 442 rwhp and 484 rwtq and they did so track time and made some killer rans 13.21 at 105 on a hot day that impressive. I have a friend that did similer upgrades to his 07 saleen and his loven the truck

I cannot believe I just sat and wasted 10 minutes of my time on this thread.
Thanks to FTE Ken for posting the same info time after time after time...see a pattern.
it's amazing the # of people who don't read anything, and then ask the exact same question repeatedly...and then ignore sound advice/info
edit: at least I learned about changing the lower pulley vice the S/C'er pulley...didn't know about that
