some type of oil leak?

Ok folks, I have a 96 f250 ps 7.3

The other day I noticed a little leakage under the truck......upon looking it looks like it is coming from within the flywheel cover.........it is clear oily substance.....I've been trying to figure out what it is.......not engine oil, to clean......it is almost colorless,,,,,,,,,,,so what do you folks think.....could it be air conditioning oil, maybe tranny oil.........or some type of hydraulic leak......anyone with any ideas

oh by the way.......if anyone has a small antifreeze leakage on their oil filter.....I was stumped until......I ran across a ford deal that said they milled some the oil filter stuff on the block to close on the block and it creates a leakage........I spent a lot of money at ford trying to diagnose this and what they told me was cavitation......well I did find a ford bulletin on it..........said there was a special fix for it.......done by the factory only........well at least it wasn't cavitation......you know I don't mind paying for something if I get value for my dollar........but ford sure has cost me some money in the past.......only to find the real answers on this site..........so someone save me some money..........by diagnosing my oil leakage problem

Its probably fuel from the valley of the engine. Any leaks in the valley are drained to the flywheel area. You either have a fuel pump or something on the fuel filter housing leaking.

X2 - Replaced my Fuel pump 2 months ago, leaked out of the valley, down the back of the block, around the trans inspection housing to the concrete...

As TJ said, could be your filter housing, lines or fuel..
