Sounds like it is a Cali truck. Vehicles have to meet CA EPA before they can legally be sold in CA.

Why so suprised on 25+ boost. I have no guages so dont know what a close to stock truck like mine would even be.

15 psi is pretty standard for a stock truck

no puck, but me thinks it aint the original pump. would the color of the injector top tell anything?

Because stock there trucks usually only see around 18-20 PSI MAX.

The Letters AA are single and wouldn't be cali.... Cali is splits would be AB, I believe... Bill or Tim or Cuda_Jim or someone can correct me if i'm wrong

correct. color would have no bearing. but those two little letters would tell you as well as the PCM calibration code.

my truck, with a few mods, stomping on it, can just break 24 PSI and 900 in the manifold

Get the PCM code and check for a quick spool 1.00A/R.
That truck has to have something or the gauge is not good.
You have been here since 11/06?

2 stroke, Pop off the parking brake, 3 bolts and check you PCM code... that will solve all of this!
