My stay in OK

A few years ago My family went to Oklahoma for a Family Reunion. we stayed in a small town Called Gans, Most of my Granny and Grandad's family was or is from that area,
They lived in the towns of Redland, Muldro, Gans, and a few others in the south east corner of the state, My cousin April, and her husband Bryant is were Our family stayed at there home right along the Arkansas river, from there back yard you can see the Kerr resivor Dam, Just beautiful at night. There were almost 100 Family members that attended from the area. I got to see cousin's and Aunt's, Uncles, and all the New family that I had never met I got to meet Bryant's Family and Friends, It was a great time We played some Basketball in there new Gym, We fished at Danny Wayne's cow ponds. They are stocked with Bass and are easy to catch. We all flew in and out of Sallisaw in my aunt Panola's Private plane, When we were landing on that Tiny air strip It was Sooo Cool, Cause I was sitting in the copilot seat. I cant wait till the next time we go to OKlahoma, It will be a Great time And hopefully this time I will get to meet the Big Guy!

Wow, sounds like a fun and relaxing stay. I'm glad you had such a good time and shared with us. I'm sure you all have memories from that family reunion that will last a life time.

My wife and I have only been here just under 10 years and still haven't seen or done much out here. This year I want to bring the kids up to the wildlife refuge to see live buffalo/bison.

Hooksetter is starting off with a positive reputation.
If you're in Tulsa try Woolaroc near Bartlesville. BillW--if you were near Sallisaw and Kerr Reservoir, you were in some of the prettiest areas in the US. I also think everyone should see the Talimena Skyline Drive. Here is a link, with a few pictures.

I'm in Sallisaw all the time... if you shoot me an e-mail, perhaps we could plan a short impromptu gtg.
