Lake Murray G2G in association with SC PowerStroke planning Thread!!!

I suppose we can toss the RSVPs, things to bring and the In between ITEMs that seem prudent here and keep Steve's orignal thread for updated dates and time and places.

I just would hate to have details getting lost in the other Important stuff...
So it seemed important enough to make two threads out of it...

So here goes... People (Your RSVP), FooD, Games, and other "Stuff" (boats, guests, grills etc.)

  • I may even have door prizes for this one... maybe I can get my hands on some T-Shirts, MP3 players, gas cards and other gift certificates and rebate offers.

I called to check on the reservation for a shelter for the Powerstoke GTG and the lady was gone for the day. I was told I would hear from her tomorrow. They might still be able to squeeze us in at a shelter if they aren't too packed that day (March 15th). Keep your figers crossed!

*I will have an update tomorrow (Tuesday)

Sorry for the late update, I just got off the phone with the lady and have my conformation e-mail.

Ok gentlemen, we are booked for March 15th at the biggest shelter on the island from 10am-8pm. It's designed to hold 200 people. Children's day is from 10am-1pm and it happening on the other side of the island so that shouldn't interfere.

Here's the catch. My birthday is the following weekend and as long as it's a friends and family event (up to 100 people) it's free. Since I consider all of you friends, you are all invited to my BIRTHDAY PARTY! You just have to let the guard at the gate know you are here for Steve Kranendonk's birthday party. Sound it out now...."Kran-en-donk".....3 syllables. Piece of cake, right? LOL

Seriously, depending where you're at in SC, I'm gonna have to get my truck dyno-ed with all the new performance mods. Last time I ran it, it was bone stock and putting out 269.4 HP. I've still got the dyno sheet if yall don't believe me!

Gotta love that 7.3!

Steve, I know you mentioned having to work extended hours starting up in Apr... but maybe setting a rain date may be in order as well?

Ok, the refueling outage just got bumped forward a week. Looks like it's going to start towards the end of April. Whatever the date is, don't change it cause of me. If I can make it I'd love to be there, if not well then I'll just have to make the next one

Check this out. This has pretty much all the info needed and also how many people are coming. If someone wants to start their own list on here for the ford-trucks members, that'd be great (I'm gonna need a final headcount so I will know how much food to buy)

(I don't think you have to log in to see this thread, it should pop right up)
