I just bought a 1981 Ford F100 Flareside Short bed.
The wood was completely rotted out in the bed.
` I would like to replace the wood without having to buy an expensive kit.
Does anybody have the size spec on the wood bed replacements?

I can't help you with the lumber, but I'm glad to see a new face.

 

Welcome glad you found us. Are you redoing the bed to be used or just for show? If you are just going to rebuild for use I would get in there with a tape measure and see what you need and cut to fit . I would probaly get some steel bed strips to put between the planks .
