I am thinking of adding Ford's Mobile Ease to my 2007 Expedition which has the factory navigation system. Has anyone already done this? Does it work well? How much should I expect to pay the dealer to install it?
Any and all information/suggestions would be appreciated.
I found it. No need to tell me. It is what I have been looking for as well. I just wanted SYNC but the early birds get no prize...thanks Ford/Microsoft.

Just get the Parrot, it's way better then the mobileease, and they have a plug-n-play harness that makes install really simple. You can do much more with the Parrot with the LCD screen.
I bought the Parrot CK3100 off Ebay for about $119.00. The harness I got somewhere else online, but dont remember where. Try searching google for Parrot harness ford expedition. I think it was about $100. I installed it myself, pretty simply. Just pull out the HU and plug a couple harnesses.
I have a Parrot CK3100 that I am trying to install into a 2005 Expedition with factory Navigation. Parrot makes a $60 harness but it does not work with the Ford "Visteon" Nav unit, which of course I have.
I heard there is a Ford cable that allows Aux input perhaps a mute wire. Maybe it is the Mobile_Ease harness 3W4Z-14A411-AA?
Anybody have any luck installing a Parrot bluetooth if you have the nav radio?

IQ9 did you get mobile-ease working with the included nav on your Expedition? I just bought an 08 with Nav... there is a "phone" button on the Radio/Nav but it does nothing. I was told that Mobile-Ease would solve it. The dealer installed it and it does not work and now my voice activated system commands do not work. any insight would be helpful...
I have done nothing on this item. I went the easy route and bought a motorola blue tooth speaker for my phone. It works OK but I had to put money elsewhere so I didn't have the $425 needed. Sorry I don't have a solution or any ideas to help.

I guess I should have said what berry1234 did. Thanks to berry1234 for doing what I should have. Yes, take it and ask..."why this no worky-work??" See if they fix it or blame it on you.I hope for the best.

I also bought an 08 Expy with Nav. Did you get this resolved? The dealer is offering me Mobile Ease for $725, installed. It doesn't sound like this is very well integrated with the Nav, so it comes back to features and voice quality.
Does anyone have knowledge of how features and voice quality compare??
I bought an 08 Expy with Nav and had the Mobile-Ease installed also. The phone buttons on the nav system do not do anything (feel free to curse at this point!) - apparently it is there for future use when they actually integrate the phone system into the nav system.
Mobile Ease is clunky because there is no screen to type in numbers or to program the system. Commands need to be programmed by voice - not difficult but slow. Compare this to a Toyota system and you will want to pull our your hair! Sound quality is pretty good, depending on where they mount the microphone (yes they install a mic despite the fact that the nav system has its own mic) and the volume is controlled by the radio volume. You have a control unit that has to be mounted on the dash and a mic mounted on the upper console. A very unattractive system for a dealer installed unit, but functional.
