e-350 questions

Hi, I recently purchased an e-350 box van, 98 with 240k on a 5.4 and have a few issues... I have at least one broken exhaust manifold stud, is it recommended to replace manifolds at the same time as the studs? Do the headers for the Fseries work on the Econolines? Do the stud kits for the Mustang (actually bolts) work? Is there an easy way to tell if the engine/heads have been updated? This thing runs great, way better than I would expect a truck with a quarter million miles on it to run. I am also concerned about the spark plug issues if it has the original heads. I have put over 100k on a 4.6 with no issues (97) but still I worry.
thanks
Eric

Jeez if you do whats recommended you'll pull the engine, do both sides and upgrade everything.

Or do like I do and keep driving.

I've had a broken exhaust stud on my 97 E350 w/v10 for a long time. It's not leaking and until it does I don't plan on disturbing a sealed exhaust manifold.
