HELP! ive got wierd noises

I have an 03 f-350 6.0 powerstroke. whenever i stop, i get a consistant vibration. i do not think that it is my abs. sometimes it will continue to vibrate while the truck is completely stopped and the speed and volume of the sound does not change. it is a constant noise when the brakes are applied. it does it worse with weight on the front end of the truck. i plow in the winter so its very noticable right now. any thoughts on that sound will help.
Also, i get a second noise when i turn or go over bumps. its typically a single pop.
all noises are coming from the front end. any help would be appreciated.

I've got an 03 F250 with 61K on it...I just bought new front rotors because my fronts are warped. My fronts vibrate when I brake...worse when I'm going downhill, and really bad when I've got weight in the truck...sounds like your plow issue.

It doesn't make sense that the vibration continues after you've stopped. That would indicate something is loose and it continues to viberate after you stop.

The single pop going over a bump could be several issues. How many miles on yours? How long has it been doing this?

Im not sure about the vibration, but the popping could be the swabar end-links.

Next time your stopped and have the vibration try turning the steering wheel back and forth a little. See if the vibrations stop when turning the wheel.

Im running out of ideas, just start checking everything, springs, hangars, tie rods steering linkage, youll stumble across it eventually, good luck & let us know what you find.

Yes, you have 4X4 then you have u-joints at the ends of the front axles... something worth looking into. Mine has all new ball joints and still "pops" as well when going over bumps and turning at times... I suspect it has to do with the bushings on the sway bar or on the leaf springs... I'll check it out after things warm up and the snow melt dries up!

Check your down pipe from the turbo and make sure it is not rubbing on the body. Sometimes they get turned alittle and can rub and make a vibration.

This sounds dumb, but antifreeze can make leaf springs pop. I had a K15 that kept leaking at the thermostat hose, and every time the springs popped I would tighten the clamp again. It happenned in the cold weather.

"sometimes it will continue to vibrate while the truck is completely stopped "

It's not a suspension issue.

Try moving the steering wheel while it's doing this.

I wonder if it's the HydroBoost?
