Thumbs up Thank you Ferguson777/Read first- FAQ 1948-Articles

Many, many thanks to RMF aka Ferguson777 for noticing & informing me about the messed up/non working links and resupplying fresh links for the ''Read first- FAQ and MANY more 1948-1960 Ford truck related articles.''
In other words patiently babysitting me through all this. My hat`s off to you!
Hope I got it all straight and working propery, finally, working etc, if not please report problems....

Still seems there are some problems...Walston is telling me that ''They are definitely not there.''
Hope we`re on the same page....
Anyone else having problems with them?

I think Walston was referring to the search feature in the Articles/Specs, anyone try it lately? Worked for me but the may not be the case all the time.
There maybe some FTE site tune up going on which seems to affect search features at times.....

Morris,

I see you editted SOME of what I sent you today into the original posting in the FAQ etc thread. However, what I see there is about half of what I sent you.

Maybe we should just give up. This whole endevour seems to be cursed.....

Later,

Seems that way but we can add a little at a time as it`s a worth while project. Some, I`m sure will get good use out of it.
Thanks for your efforts again, it`s much appreciated.

Everything works except these two are missing.

"Toyota Steering Box Swap For 1948-1960 Trucks"
"Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Adapting Major Components of 1948 to 1960 Ford Trucks"

When I search for them the link shows up, but there is no article when I click on them.

Dick try this and see if it works for you: Go to the "Articles/Specs" tab at the top of this page. Go there and do a search on either of these 2 articles:"Toyota Steering Box Swap For 1948-1960 Trucks" & "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Adapting Major Components of 1948 to 1960 Ford Trucks" Click on the link and see if it shows up.

There is a newbie (bnmsbronco) right now asking a question about PS options for a 51 and as far as I know there is no way to direct him to the fine article RMF and others put together.

Morris I appreciate the effort to get all the links working.

Gone
If I do find a link it's in the first search and it leads to nothing.
I'll try some other things later.

OK
I went off site and used some search engines linked to FTE only.
I drilled down looking for all ref to Toyota+steering.
I can't find the article, lots of links - all blind.
How effective was the search? I was reading 99/2000 list/serve files. I didn't realize that they were doing this swap that far back, and using Bob F-100's for the brackets.
If the article file is still on the server it's not linked to anything and can't be accessed.
