late shifting

Whats up people? My problem is with my 96 f-150 4x4 eddie bauer about a week ago a vaccum hose from my manifold broke I think to the map sensor, but anyways I unplugged the battery after I made the repairs to the hose, now my transmission seems like every gear shifts 500-700 rpm late. Every gear is hitting strong but they are late and if my speeds are not high enough to reach overdrive, it seems like I automatic cruise controll, i take my foot off the gas and she will keep the same speed, if someone knows what could be the problem please help me......btw I have a 302 with 190000 miles trans was rebuilt 2 years agO its an 4R70W tranny code U. LIKE I SAID THE GEARS ARE LATE BUT THEY ARE SOLID.....

4r70W doesn't have a modulator, it is electrically controlled.

The throttle position sensor is critical to it's shift points.
