Unhappy 93' Ranger Tranny Fluid missing please advise

Hi haven't been here in a while. Well here it is...............
My 93'ranger is loseing transmission fluid....but can you guess where I found it................................In my Engine. Never seen this before. Do I have a Vacuume line hooked up wrong or something?

Rags is starting off with a positive reputation.
By the sound of it your vacuum modulator on your transmission is blown, and the vacuum line from the intake is sucking the transmission fluid into your engine.

This happened to my 94! The only problem I had was trying to get 1 from my local parts stores. according to there books there is no listing for one after 89 so they said I didn't have one. But there is a modulator on these trans, it's on the passenger side toward the rear of the trans, and a PITA to get too.

I just had them give me one for an 89 ( just to save an argument ) and replaced it and all is well. When I removed the vacuum line from my old one trans fluid poured out of the line. so you can pull the line first to double check it.

Yeah, the part is not more than $30 tops. Replace the vacuum line too, the fluid softens it and makes them start popping off or breaking.
