Gearstix is starting off with a positive reputation.
ebay turbos, experiences?

Was thinkin about turboing the F150 w/300 6 cyl I'm looking at gettting..
has anybody had any good experiences with the ebay turbochargers or are they junk?

what a ebay turbo??? if your talkin about buying one from ebay its a toss up. if it comes remaned or bew your prob gonna be ok but if its used from some joe schmo its prob gonna need to be rebuilt. rebuild kits are usually fairly cheap and it doesnt take much to do it. if it is a used one aske for pics of the housing opening to make sure there isnt cracks. if your unsure of what to look for post the link so someone here can look at it.

those would be good but read up and make sure you get the correct trim and a/r ratios or it wont spool like its suposed too and you may never get the power where you can use it.

what are you trying to do with this truck???

Well its gonna be my project truck.. Trying to make a quick lil street truck. Not a racer or nothing, just more of a project..

read threw this its a excellent place to start. also i would suggest a book called maximum boost by corky bell. very good book ive read it myslef and it has helped me a lot.
